Cubs Lose Johnson, looking to deal?

The Cubs received bad news on a good day today. The Cubs learned that Reed Johnson will miss at least a month with a broken foot after injuring in today's 12-0 victory. With Johnson out for at least a month the Cubs may make a deal before the deadline for an fourth outfielder. The Cubs had interest in Ryan Spilborghs earlier this year so that may call the Rockies about him. Some other players the Cubs should consider is Cody Ross, Juan Pierre, Reggie Willits, David DeJesus, or Willie Bloomquist. They also could consider adding a guy who can play the corners and move Bradley to play some CF. Guys like Jeremy Hermida, Luke Scott, and yes, Mark Teahen would also be good options. The Cubs could also go the cheap route and call up Sam Fuld.

I think all of these guys would be a good option for the Cubs. I think they should target Willie Bloomquist or Mark Teahen, if not both!

Fuld has earned a longer look.Of course it might be problematic against a left hander. How well does he hit lefties? Anyone know?

Allan in my opinion Fuld will give you 100% all the time. He's fast, he will take a walk but he really doesn't hit rights or leftys real well. I know he hit well when they brought him up. But he hit about 280 every year in AAA. I do like anyone who hustles.
