Cubs notes.

Here is some tidbits from today-

- Soriano will be moved to leadoff spot and Theriot to the 2 hole. Lou seems pretty pissed off after today and he should be. Losing a hard played, one run game is one thing, losing a game with sloppy play and at bats is unacceptable. I do not think Soriano or Theriot are the answers to leading off but there the only players we have that can fill the roles. That guy in Baltimore would have been great!!

- Cubs still have a mild interest in Crisp but the asking price is too high and they currently do not have a place for him on the team. Unless they are already giving up on Pie.

theriot should be in the 8th hole. he is lucky he is even in the line up. Soriano doesn't belong in the one or two hole either. We got de rosa who would be a good number two or hell even a better lead off then thm. plus we got fukudome and johnson(when starting) who can also be up at top.

The honeymoon period for Theriot is fading.

I agree... its probably a bit too much to ask of for Theriot to lead off. I dont mind him in the 2 hole though. He would also be fine lower in the order.

Good to see some solid baseball today. Good defense and some base stealing. One down... 91 to go.

Robert Hernandez as an 18 year old pitched in A ball last year and looked great, just got a 50-game suspension for using stanozolol. And our spring training star Hoffpauir just got injured. Glacier don't get to excited about Theriot, Cedeno will be at short soon.

Cedeno wouldnt be good at the top order either. Nick he got no patients at the plate neither. Maybe D. Lee could lead off?

Hey glacier i guess we will have to lead off with Fukudome. OBP.625 BA.500 and he's tied for the team lead in SB's. (1) Or we could go with Johnson in center.

That last comment was not from me about D Lee. I am never awake at 6:45 am

i like johnson alot but i we need to keep pie in center for the main part. He is still young remember and he just needs some time. ha but i would love fukudome at the top of the line up, man he is one hell of a hitter to watch.
