Reviewing Floyd?

This according to http://www.mlb-rumors.blogspot.com/

The Cubs are reviewing Cliff Floyd's medical records one last time before finalizing a one year, incentive base contract. A deal is most likely to be finalized this weekend. Floyd batted .244 with 11 HR and 44 RBI. He will most likely platoon with Matt Murton in left field.

This is really nothing new, they have been reviewing his medical record for weeks now. I hope he signs soon, he would be a great player off the bench and could be good in case the Murton project doesnt work out. He is a great gamble, he could put up .285 with 20-25 hr next year if heathy. A 1 year with 6 million dollar contract and 3 million being incentives would be reasonable. Either way I like the idea of Floyd being a cub.
